Success! The surgery for the torn right Achilles tendon is complete! This is the first organization point guard in the NBA.

Haliburton has successfully undergone surgery for his torn right Achilles tendon...

What’s truly enviable is that his girlfriend has been by his side since his injury; love is the greatest source of strength.

In this year's playoffs, Haliburton recorded a total of 197 assists, becoming the player with the most assists in a single playoff season in Pacers history, leading the team to the finals and battling the Thunder for seven games before losing. Undoubtedly, this was a successful season for him.

Despite suffering a devastating injury, Haliburton had signed a massive contract two years ago, with salaries for the next four seasons reaching $45.55 million, $48.92 million, $52.30 million, and $55.67 million, allowing him to focus on recovery as if it were a paid vacation.

It’s worth mentioning that Haliburton's Achilles tear is not only related to his decision to play through injury in Game 7 of the finals, but possibly also due to extreme fatigue.

This guy has participated in 143 regular-season games and 37 playoff games over the past two years, as well as representing the USA in the World Cup and the Olympics, essentially being in a year-round non-stop state; even the donkeys in the production team would call it inhumane.

Notably, statistics show thatthis season has seen as many as seven players suffer serious injuries to their Achilles tendonsas follows:

Pelicans star Murray (torn right Achilles), Bucks star Lillard (torn left Achilles), Celtics star Tatum (ruptured right Achilles), Pacers forward Isaiah Jackson (torn right Achilles), Heat guard Drew Smith (ruptured left Achilles), Pacers center Wiseman (ruptured left Achilles), and Pacers star Haliburton (torn right Achilles).

Due to the frequent occurrence of serious injuries, commentator Cowherd has stated that the pace of today’s games is becoming faster, with players moving more frequently, and has called for the NBA to shorten the season, as well as to adopt a five-game series format for the playoffs before the finals.

Shortening the schedule is a topic that has been discussed for a long time; the issue is that even if the NBA is willing, they must also consider the opinions of sponsors, as fewer games would mean reduced exposure and consequently lower profits.

Last year, the NBA signed an 11-year, $77 billion broadcasting deal with ESPN, NBC, and Amazon, which has led to skyrocketing player salaries, with the potential for annual salaries to reach around $100 million in the future.

In summary, shortening the schedule is a matter that requires long-term consideration and cannot be changed with just a single statement!
