With more than two weeks left in the NBA trade deadline, James and Davis are worried that the Lakers are not doing enough

The NBA's Los Angeles Lakers have a 23-18 record this season and are currently in sixth place in the West, but recent news has pointed out that with the trade deadline approaching, the two biggest stars, James and AD Davis, are worried that the Lakers are not doing enough.

With more than two weeks to go before the trade deadline on Feb. 6 (local time), James and Davis are increasingly concerned about whether the Lakers can significantly improve their roster with two tradable first-round picks, according to ESPN's Charania. James, a four-time champion, and Davis, who has won a championship, both want the team to take action to compete for a championship, as both believe that the Lakers may still have one or two pieces of the puzzle left.

The Lakers made a trade with the Nets last year, giving away Russell, Lewis, and three second-round picks in exchange for 3-and-D player Finneysmith and guard Milton, but the Lakers didn't make any further trades after that.

Recently, Lakers head coach Redick and James have publicly stated that the team has little room for error due to the weak roster, but the good news is that forward Vanderbilt, who has good defensive skills, is expected to return to the team in the near future.
