Dodge reinforcement completed? Dodge General Manager: The possibility of further reinforcement is not ruled out

After winning the World Series last year, the Los Angeles Dodgers continued to bolster their roster. As for whether there will be any more moves to follow, the team's general manager Brandon Gomes said he is happy with the current squad, but did not completely rule out the possibility of further reinforcements.

The Dodgers signed Blake Snell, Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates from the free agent market this winter, as well as bringing in Ron Sasaki and Kim Hye-sung from Japan and South Korea, respectively.

"We certainly stay in touch with Kershaw, and we know he wants to be a lifelong Dodger as well, so we'll continue to communicate with him," Gomez said when asked on a podcast hosted by Jon Heyman and Joel Sherman about the next step up and whether he might expect Clayton Kershaw to return. ”

"As for the rest," Gomez said, "never say no, we'll continue to look for opportunities to make the squad more complete in the way that suits us." But we're happy with the reinforcements we have at the moment and if spring training starts tomorrow we feel like we have a great team. ”

Some media speculated that by the time spring training begins, the Dodgers may put players on the 60-day injury list, and then announce the signing of Kershaw. Currently, the Dodgers' pitcher roster is inflexible, with 10 of the other 13 pitcher slots, excluding Shohei Ohtani, who can be registered as a second-in-class pitcher, expected to be reserved for players who are no longer able to move freely between major and minor leagues, and the remaining three slots are expected to be allocated to Roshiro Sasaki, Tony Gonsolin and Alex Vesia.
