In the mid-season trade of 2023, he was traded to the Rangers from the Mets, had a herniated disc surgery after the season, recuperated for half a year, and was put on the 60-day injury list in May 2024 due to neuro-induced thoracic outlet syndrome, and was put on the 15-day injury list on August 3 due to right shoulder fatigue, and only had 9 games in the entire season, and became a free agent after the season.
