The 2025 WTT Chongqing Championship has been announced, and South Korea, China and Japan will play as their main team

South Korean table tennis women's singles ace Shin Yubin and men's singles brother Zhang Yuzhen will compete in the 2025 WTT Chongqing Championships. The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has released the list of 34 participants in the men's and women's singles at the WTT Championships Chongqing based on the world rankings on the 26th.

The ITTF has determined the list of invited players based on the ITTF World Rankings in January this year. For South Korea, Shin Youbin (world No. 10), Seo Hyo-won (No. 22), Zhu Qianxi (No. 26) and Kim Na-young (No. 39) were invited to compete in the women's singles competition. In addition, in the men's category, Jang Woo-jin (12th), Ahn Jae-hyun (Korea Exchange, 21st), Cho Dae-sung (23rd), and Lee Sang-so (40th) were included in the entry list.

In particular, at the Korea General Championships in December last year, Lee Sang-so won the right to automatically select the national representative as the men's singles champion and will participate in the 2025 WTT Chongqing Championship.

Players such as Shin Woo-jin and Jang Woo-jin entered the Jincheon Korean National Player Village for national team training on the same day, and will participate in the 2025 WTT Chongqing Championship as individuals during the competition.

The 2025 WTT Chongqing Championships will only be played in men's and women's singles. On the side of the world's strongest Chinese team, including Lin Shidong and Sun Yingsha, who are ranked first in the world in the men's and women's groups, men's singles players Wang Chuqin (second place) and Liang Jingkun (third place), women's singles players Wang Manyu (second place), Wang Yidi (third place), Chen Xingtong (third place) and other top players will all be dispatched.
