Robin van Persie has stepped down as Heerenveen manager to sign Feyenoord on a two-year contract

According to a number of European media reports a few days ago, Van Persie, a former famous Dutch striker who is currently coaching Heerenveen, has reached an agreement with Feyenoord to step down as coach of Heerenveen and change to coach Feyenoord.

Former Dutch striker Robin van Persie has resigned from Heerenveen and signed Feyenoord to a two-year contract until 2027.

Fabrizio Romano, a well-known Italian football journalist, also reported with his iconic Here we go, saying that Van Persie and Feyenoord have signed a two-year contract until 2027. Van Persie has resigned from Heerenveen.

Feyenoord sacked coach Priske on the 10th of this month, and temporarily appointed Boschat as interim manager. Van Persie only signed a two-year contract with Heerenveen in May last year, taking charge of the first senior team. In this season's Champions League, Feyenoord eliminated AC Milan a few days ago to advance to the round of 16. Feyenoord are currently fourth in the Eredivisie table and have potential Champions League last-16 opponents either Arsenal or Inter Milan.
