On February 17, the policy issuance ceremony of the "Outstanding Athlete Lifetime Protection Public Welfare Project" was held in Beijing, and 20 athletes from the national diving team, gymnastics team, swimming team, synchronized swimming team and badminton team such as Quan Hongchan, Liu Yang and Qin Haiyang were issued insurance policies on the spot, and the policies of other athletes such as Sun Yingsha and Wang Chuqin will be issued one after another.
According to the project plan, the top three athletes in the Paris Olympics can receive a monthly guarantee for life after reaching the age of 60, with the standard being 6,000 yuan/month for gold medals, 5,000 yuan/month for silver medals, and 4,000 yuan/month for bronze medals. The policy covers all 130 medalists at the Paris Olympics. The guarantee plan was jointly donated by the National Sports Foundation of China, China Pacific Insurance Group, Anta Group and China Sports Industry Group.

According to reports, Anta donated 100 million yuan at the end of 2023 to establish the "Olympic Podium Public Welfare Fund", from which 40 million yuan was allocated this time to purchase lifelong protection for outstanding athletes in Paris and the next two Olympic Games (Milan 2026 and Los Angeles 2028).
