Park So-yeon (28), who used to be the national representative of figure skating South Korea, recently married Mishaji (33), a former national figure skating representative of Uzbekistan. The two received congratulations from their friends in the figure skating community at a hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 16th, and agreed to grow old together.

Park So-yeon, a South Korean skater known as "post-Kim Yuna", competed at Sochi 2014 with Kim Yuna and Kim Hae-jin (both of whom have since retired) and finished ninth in the women's singles at the World Figure Skating Championships that year. Since Kim Yuna's retirement, Park So-yeon has been a top domestic contender. In December 2016, Park So-yeon was forced to live on crutches after suffering a fatal ankle fracture during a training session, and then tried to make a comeback at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Trials.
Eventually, after Park So-yeon retired in June 2019, she engaged in a variety of activities such as being a musical theater actress and a figure skating coach.
