ACCORDING TO A REPORT BY "CLUTCH POINTS" ON THE 15TH, NBA THUNDER SECOND-YEAR GUARD WALLLESS WAS INTERVIEWED BY THE MEDIA DURING THE 2025 STAR WEEKEND ROOKIE MATCH, AND RECALLED THE MOMENT WHEN HE WAS "SHOCKED AND EDUCATED" BY THE TEAM'S SUPERSTAR GILGIS ALEXANDER WHEN HE FIRST ENTERED THE LEAGUE.

Wallace's moment came in training camp when he had a one-on-one heads-up duel with Kyrgyz Alexander, only to be completely crushed by the opposing side.

'In training camp, I had to play one-on-one with him and he could choose where he wanted to shoot. "It was only later that I found out that he liked to attack from mid-range and in the low post, and I had to be taught hard by him. I was confident and told myself, 'I'm not going to let this happen.'" Outcome? It did happen, and the score was 'big odds': 'zero'. ”

Despite being completely crushed by Kyrgyz Alexander at the time, Wallace was not discouraged. In his second year in the league, his stats have improved dramatically from his rookie season.

This season, Wallace averaged 27.4 minutes per game, amassed 7.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.8 steals and made one three-pointer, shooting 44.2 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three-point range. His playing time, points, rebounds, assists, and steals have all improved from last season.
