Outfielder Jurickson Profar has agreed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Atlanta Braves, uniting the veteran, who just finished a year of his career, with a team that has struggled to find the right left fielder in recent years.
Jurickson Profar, 31, was the inspiration for the San Diego Padres last year with a career-best 24 home runs and 85 RBIs at a scale of 0.280/0.380/0.459, once the most promising player in baseball, and his first career All-Star selection and a Silver Bat Award, all through a one-year $1 million contract.
Jurickson Profar will join the Warriors outfield lineup with outfielder Michael Harris II, who is the 2023 National League MVP but missed most of last season with a torn left anterior cruciate ligament, and right fielder Ronald Acuña Jr., among others.
