Competing in Thailand for the first time, Luo Peilin aimed to use the competition as training. Despite facing challenges such as hot weather, changes in the competition schedule, and limited warm-up space, she maintained her composure and adapted to various conditions. She finished first in the preliminaries the day before with a time of 58.72 seconds, securing her place in the finals.
Luo Peilin stated, "Through this competition, I learned to face various situations that arise during events, such as schedule changes. I am very grateful to my coaches, nutritionists, and therapists in Taiwan for their constant support and adjustments, allowing me to confidently follow their advice. I also appreciate the association's staff for keeping us informed and organized. At the competition venue, I did my best to prepare within the limited space. When I competed in Singapore in April, I faced different circumstances, and these experiences have taught me how to adapt better for future competitions in different locations."

Facing the last competition of the first half of the season, Luo Peilin gave her all in the finals, competing alongside the Vietnamese athlete who recently won silver in the women's 400 meters, as well as two young talents from Taiwan, Zhong Xinru and Liu Chenyu. In this healthy competition, Luo Peilin stood out with her consistent performance to take home the gold medal.
Luo Peilin remarked, "The young athletes provide me with great motivation. Knowing that they perform well makes me focus more on executing each step properly. I was quite happy to see my time at the finish line; achieving 57 seconds in this weather is something I'm proud of. This is the first time I've competed alongside Xinru and Chenyu, and they are both lovely and enthusiastic. Our bond has improved over these few days, and the younger athletes come to me with questions. I try to share my experiences, hoping it can help them with their performances. We all know how challenging this journey is, and I hope we can all keep improving."
With the first half of the season concluded, Luo Peilin will enter a period of adjustment to prepare for the events in the second half of the year. She is not satisfied with her current state and hopes to continue pushing her times forward after this adjustment.
