The fastest man among retail workers! Dylan Beard, who earns extra money working part-time at a U.S. supermarket chain, triumphed over Paris Olympic gold medalist Grant Holloway at the Golden Grand Prix in Ostrava, Czech Republic, during the 2025 World Athletics Tour on the 25th Beijing time.

At 26, Beard's past performances were only average, leading to a lack of sponsorships. However, he harbored ambitions to challenge himself, working at the well-known U.S. retail chain Walmart to earn money. With fewer distractions in training, Beard recorded his personal best of 13.02 seconds and won a silver medal at the previous Diamond League event in Paris, narrowly losing to fellow American Trey Cunningham by just 0.02 seconds.

In contrast, Holloway is a renowned Olympic gold medalist, but his performance this season has declined. This Golden Grand Prix marked his return to form, while Beard surged ahead in the final stages, defeating Holloway by just 0.001 seconds with a time of 13.124 seconds.
