During her sophomore year, Lin Yuhan set an astonishing record by scoring 52 points in a single game, helping her team, the Golden Cup Girls' High School, secure fourth place in the women's division. However, she faced injuries in her senior year, and her team was eliminated in the top 12. In late April, she officially enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University, becoming the first player in Chinese Taipei women's basketball history to challenge an NCAA Division I school right after high school graduation.
Lin Yuhan has represented the Chinese Taipei women's basketball team in the U17 World Cup and the U18 Asian Cup. Before heading to the U.S. for further studies, she made her debut with the adult Chinese Taipei women's basketball team as a potential training player, expressing her excitement: "I feel the different intensity here. Everything I see is new, with foreign coaches bringing fresh ideas, and the senior players are eager to share their experiences. I believe being here allows me to experience higher levels of physical competition ahead of time."
In the Chinese Taipei women's basketball team, Lin Yuhan is positioned as a point guard and takes the opportunity to learn from seniors like Peng Shiqing, Peng Xiaotong, and Xu Shihan. "If I have questions on the court, I will ask them. I hope to dig up some treasures from their experiences."
As the first player in history to graduate high school and challenge NCAA Division I powerhouses, Lin Yuhan expressed her determination to write a new chapter for Chinese Taipei women's basketball. She mentioned her strong competitive spirit, saying that when she heard no one had accomplished this before, she wanted to take the chance to challenge directly. She also revealed that she chose to wear the number 1 jersey for the Chinese Taipei women's basketball team, hoping to be a pioneer in taking on challenges. "Since I am the first, I want to explore and challenge more, so that future players won't feel so uncertain. Everything I do is a first-time experience, and I hope to excel myself so that future players can follow suit and make an impact. I aspire to be an influential person."
