How much is Shohei Ohtani's 250th home run worth? The Dodgers are offering three items in exchange.

Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani previously hit his 250th home run, which was picked up by a San Francisco Giants fan, Ankit Shah. He recently posted on social media, revealing that the Dodgers are interested in retrieving this significant record ball and have offered a signed bat and two signed balls in exchange, which he ultimately accepted.

On the 15th of Beijing time, during a game against the Giants, Shohei Ohtani hit two home runs in a single game, marking his 250th home run. He became the fastest player in history to reach 250 home runs and 150 stolen bases in 944 games, surpassing A-Rod (Alex Rodriguez), who did it in 977 games.

It is worth mentioning that this home run ball was picked up by Giants fan Ankit Shah, who later shared on social media that he quickly grabbed the ball after it landed. "I thought it was just an ordinary home run ball to keep as a bragging right, but I didn’t realize it was Ohtani's 250th home run," he said.

Shah stated that the Dodgers later expressed their willingness to provide a signed bat from Ohtani in exchange for the 250th home run ball. However, he hoped to meet Ohtani in person and also receive two authenticated signed balls. Although the team indicated that a meeting with Ohtani was not possible, they still offered two signed balls, which he ultimately accepted.

Reflecting on the situation, Shah mentioned that if he had rejected the Dodgers' offer and left the stadium, the ball would have been worthless, as he wouldn't have been able to verify its authenticity.

From the photos shared by Shah afterward, it is evident that not only the signed balls have authentication tags, but the signed bat does as well, complete with a signature.
