At the 2025 WTT Star Challenge in Ljubljana, which concluded on the 22nd, Miyu Nagasaki defeated three Chinese players to reach the women's singles final, where she triumphed over her teammate Miyu Kihara. With this victory, she surpassed six players and rose to a new career-high ranking of 20th.

In the women's singles, Miu Hirano, who reached the top 8 at the 2025 WTT Star Challenge in Ljubljana, maintains the highest position for Japan at 6th place. Ranked 7th is Mima Ito, followed by Satsuki Odo at 8th, Hina Hayata at 9th, and Honoka Hashimoto at 14th. Miyu Kihara, the runner-up of the tournament, has also climbed to 22nd place. Miu Hirano has dropped 2 ranks, now sitting at 24th.

Additionally, the world number one, China's Sun Yingsha, remains unchanged in the top five of women's singles, which is exclusively occupied by the Chinese team. Former world number one Zhu Yuling, representing Macau at the 2025 WTT Star Challenge in Ljubljana, reached the semifinals and has risen six positions to rank 13th, soon to return to the top 10.
