Chen Yingzhu, who switched from roller skating to speed skating, made her debut at the Asian Winter Games this year, winning bronze in the women's 100m speed skating final last week, winning the first medal for Chinese Taipei since it first participated in the Asian Winter Games in 1990. In addition, Chen Yingzhu also appeared in the 500m event and finally won the 5th place.

Chen Yingzhu appeared in the 1000m final on the 11th, she and Japan's Yoshiko Yamane started for the 5th group, and a total of 20 people participated in the 1000m event, divided into groups of 2, and the final ranking was determined by the results.

Chen Yingzhu crossed the finish line in 1:19.74 and finished 12th, China's Han Mei won gold in 1:15.85, Yin Qi won the silver medal in 1:16.08, and South Korea's Lee Na-hyun won the bronze medal in 1:16.39.
